Meet Leanne

Hi, I’m Leanne – the maker behind The Hairy Cow. The story began with a garden, a love of chillies and a desire to create something real, flavourful and local. I grow the chillies, pick the spices, blend the sauces and condiments right here in WA. 

The Hairy Cow Story 

Why “Hairy Cow”? Well, sometimes things need to be a little wild, unexpected and fun – just like our chilli-ride. This business is about honesty, local produce, and the kind of flavour you remember. 

Making sauces and condiments by hand means I get to keep an eye on every step - from seedling to bottle. I’m not about shortcuts or preservatives, I’m about real ingredients, big flavour and creating something you’ll savour. 

Whether you’re a chilli veteran or a spice-newbie, I hope The Hairy Cow adds a little spark to your kitchen.
